The 2021 program can be downloaded below. Keep an eye on our facebook page to see what is coming up. Open to the public is the Highlands Track ride at 5:00pm on Tuesday 2nd February 2021. Also in 2021 we will repeat the popular motorcycle themed quiz on the Sunday night of the 31st January. Get your own team of three or four or let us put you in a team. Depending on registrations, this may be open to the public.

ARTHUR’S CINEMA: Movie night will occur in 2021 on Monday evening the 1st February – book your seat for a fun night viewing  “Easy Rider”, the motorcycle classic that got baby boomers into motorcycling.

HIGHLANDS RIDE: A visit Highlands Motorsport Park NZ will be one of the highlights at this world class facility. We are very fortunate that for $35 per single, $50 with pillion you get to ride TWO complete laps of the track under CONTROLLED conditions AND visit the Motorsport Museum. This will occur from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on the evening of Tuesday 2nd February. If you want to go Go-Karting, we suggest you book a time before 5:00 by using their online booking facility. Riding a motorcycle around Highlands is exclusive to Bike Week and not normally permitted.

Day time:

During the days Mon-Thu there are going to be three streams of planned and supported events:

Adventure rides – exploring the hills of Central Otago and beyond through the back roads and tracks
Road Tours – riding the great day trips around the area, where possible meeting together with the adventure riders for lunch
Non-riding options – for those who don’t want to ride every day, or pillions who don’t want to go adventure riding: these will include local walks, cycling, winery/cafe tours, orchard visits, historic tours, art tours etc.

Evenings:

On Thursday there will be the prize giving. On another nights there may be a guest speaker (to be determined, and meals available in the Black Rabbit to dine with them, then a small cover charge for those who want to join in and hear the speaker. See the speaker tab for more information. A range of other dining options will be available for everybody else throughout the day and evening.

Thursday evening is FINAL PARTY Night. Let your hair down, share the weeks riding stories and win a few prizes. Be prepared to be entertained!

Typical Daily Program

08:00 – 09:00 : Breakfast available
09:00 – 09:10 : Daily Breifing for riders – road and adventure
09:15 – 09:20 : What’s on for those wanting a rest day from riding
09:15 – 16:30 : Rides – note if you don’t want to ride in the main group you can leave whenever you wish – FULL FUEL tanks please
17:00 – 19:00 : Post ride drinks
16:00 – 21:30 : Evening Food available
